A marketing communications specialist with corporate experience gained in the financial services and travel sectors. Simon has held a number of roles across different marketing divisions ranging from Direct Marketing Manager to Retail Brand Development Manager to Head of Marketing Communications.

Campaign Delivery - leading and managing the development of a contact strategy for a high street bank which involved overseeing the implementation of 250 campaigns through a team of 8 people with a budge of £14 million
Marketing Mix - planning and delivering the first integrated mortgage marketing campaign for a building society - increased mortgage sales by 45% year on year
Brand Values - facilitating the development of propositions and creating communication strategies to demonstrate the value sets of a high street bank's brand, using TV, press, branch, journalists and internal communications at all levels
Customer Segmentation - leading the process for identifying key customer segments from a building society database - increased profitability by 30% for certain segments
Direct Sales - facilitating and documenting the direct mail process for use in the development of customer relationships, agreeing the design specification for the database and identifying the data enhancement requirements
Merchandising - developing and implementing a completely new merchandising concept for a bank's 750 branches, including customer and staff channels as well as integration with merchandising walls - increased branch sales by 5%
Measurement - developing and implementing the evaluation process and measures for the on-gong tracking of 'value of the brand' - during the period demonstrated a 10% increase in value
Customer Communication - advising and managing the most effective way to communicate key messages to customers for regulated products, mortgages, savings, credit cards and insurance products
Agency Management - directing and managing the relationship with direct marketing agencies, agreeing contractual arrangements, pricing models and service level agreements
